PLENARY SESSION 26 SEPTEMBER (FRIDAY MORNING)

Lecture title: “Digitalisation in Sport: A Multidisciplinary Vision.”

Speaker: Jorge García Unanue, PhD  (Spain)

 

BIO: Jorge García Unanue is PhD in Sports Science, Professor at the University of Castilla-La Mancha and co-leader of the IGOID Group (igoid.uclm.es). He has published more than 100 papers in impact journals and participates in various European projects related to sports facilities and technology in sports. His group is recognized as a FIFA Research Institute and acts as a testing laboratory for FIFA, WR, FIH, and FIBA. He also directs the Sports Surface Research Pilot Plant, which carries out various international projects. He is a member of the IAKS expert groups and is a member of the ESTC and EPSI.
